In a recent article through Psychology Today on stress, posted on June 30th of this year, the author Annie McKee, Ph.d. talked about the negatives that stress does to us, physically and emotionally as well as relationally. She shared how chronic stress can lead to depression, health issues, and isolation. McKee shares some great coping mechanisms in her article that one can add to their repertoire (aka stock pile) of coping tools. It’s a great article and a recommended read.
